The Olympic Games

In 776BC the first olympic games were held in Olympia Greece.  The first sports were boxing, wrestling, bare back horse racing and sword fighting but then the games were banned in 1756AD. After so many years Barron Pierre de Coubertine arranged the revival of the games.

The first modern olympics were held in 1888 in Seoul, Korea then after that the olympic games carried on and on. This year the olympics will be held in a beautiful city called London, England. Valerie Adams is also going to take part in the games. The olympics is about determination, strength and charisma. You do not also only need to be fit you also have to be smart because if you're not then you are not good enough! so go Valerie Adams.
