Dear Diary...

Room 24 read a myth called The wood-ash stars by Marguerite Poland.  We were told to pretend to be a character from the story and write a diary entry as that character.  The character I chose from the story was an Antelope.

Dear Diary,

Today was a hard day.  My friend Bob got shot with an arrow by a hunter.  His funeral is tomorrow, and we are having human flesh for lunch at his funeral.  Before Bob died we were playing a quiet game of tackle but then that stupid hunter came and took him away.  I saw the whole thing with my one eye, the other one got stung by a scorpion.  I still don't know how it got to my eye but, well...i'm not the sharpest Antelope.  Bob will be dearly missed and the worst part is ... the funeral costs eleven scorpions.
