Room 24's creative poem writer

The PCS library held a poetry writing competition. We had to write on ANZAC'S.
Mackenzie wrote her poem on Poppies. She was the overall winner of this competition. She got awarded for this at the school assembly.

Here is what she wrote:

Poppies shine in the morning sun
Gleaming as the soldiers run
Running from enemies
Red black and green
Red for blood we shed
Black is for grief we leave
And green is for hope we believe
Poppies grow everywhere the soldiers have been
