Room 24 have had an amazing and fantastic start to Term 1, wow we are already into Week 5.
In Writing, we are learning to write Arguments and the topic of debate is Should we have zoos and should animals be caged?
We are learning to use the correct layout when writing arguments, write in the present tense and include specialised vocabulary.
We are doing lots of fundraising for the Year 6 Camp at the end of the Year. The Year 6 students did an amazing job at selling so many boxes of juicies, thank you very much for your continued support.
The delicious and yummy ice blocks will be on sale tomorrow at break 1 for $1 each - Friday Week 4.
For Inquiry Learning, we are learning about Immigration.
Some important reminders are:
Homework is given out to each student on a Monday and it is due on Friday.
Each student is given a set of words to learn for the week on Monday and they are tested on Friday.
A good way to learn your Spelling Words are to use the strategy:
1. LOOK
2. SAY
3. COVER
4. WRITE
