Omana Beach

We had finally reached Omana beach and it looked amazing.  After we ate our morning tea we went off with our parent helpers to complete our surveys on what type of rubbish we could find at the beach.  After that we started to pick up rubbish to make sure we were looking after the environment.  Soon it was time for lunch and when we were finished eating we had a choice on what we could do next; we could go paddling, play sports or build sand castles.  I chose paddling.  We went in the ocean up to our knees.  Our group then decided to look at some rock pools to see if we could find some interesting sea life.  We found crabs, sea snails, sea anemones and a blue starfish.  Before long it was time to head back.  I  had a cool time at Omana beach.
